Organising a Pro Bono Week in Your Jurisdiction

Session Description:
An interactive session that will discuss and showcase how a Pro Bono Week type celebration can be organised in your jurisdiction, to encourage your legal profession to volunteer, and to provide opportunities for substantive discussions and launches to help develop pro bono. The session will draw on examples globally of such events and comms over the last 2 decades, explaining the benefits and highlighting practical steps, as set out in new guidance being produced by a global collaboration of organisations. The session will also explain how sponsored walks can be organised to raise funds for non-profits.
