The Evolution of Empowering Pro Bono

Session Description:

This opening plenary session will provide a foundational focus for 12APBC participants as to some of the fundamental elements engaged in the evolution of empowering pro bono in the Asia region over the past two decades.  The session will include diversified experiences of those engaged in this impactful evolutionary process from different justice sector backgrounds, including government, bar associations, the private legal sphere, universities, donor/developmental partners, and others.

The session will include personal testimonials, panel experience sharing, and a broad-based participant input as to the means and ways this evolutionary empowering process has occurred, and strategies to ensure its continued growth, expansion and impact.
