Public access to the law and other relevant information is fundamental to the rule of law and access to justice. As society becomes more complex, so have our laws, such that it can be a challenge to understand one’s rights and obligations. On the flip side, technological development and the rise of the internet and the myriad platforms it enables has changed what it means to effectively present information in a digestible format.

This panel discussion will consider the challenges that civil society organizations face with respect to developing, managing, and disseminating legal information to the public. With practical learning points that organizations can leverage to improve their capacity to distribute legal information to the general public.
