Cherilyn Tan

Bio: Cherilyn founded AsiaLawNetwork in Nov 2014 because of her personal frustration finding a suitable and affordable lawyer at a time she needed one the most. Cherilyn is driven by her quest to connect people and businesses across Asia with reliable, qualified legal help they need quickly, safely and efficiently so they can make better decisions and build stronger businesses. Her vision is an Asia where everyone is not daunted by the prospect of seeking legal help, where everyone has access to information and justice, and where consulting a lawyer is as easy as seeing a doctor. Now, the platform has grown to include meaningful ways to use technology to power pro bono cases, in collaboration with Law Society’s Pro Bono Office, as well as a client management system which will recreate lawyer-client interactions. The brand new system will be launching in January and according to Cherilyn’s advisors, will revolutionise how lawyers work and collaborate in the future.
