Bio: Catriona Martin is the Asia Pacific Pro Bono Director at DLA Piper and manages the firm’s pro bono strategy across 13 regional offices. Catriona works closely with UN agencies, governments, community legal centres and civil society organisations to develop projects that improve access to justice for vulnerable communities in Asia and the Pacific. Catriona has an affinity for child justice, emanating from her previous experience as a criminal lawyer for homeless young people. She has also worked in central Australia, advising Indigenous organisations on law reform and corporate governance issues, and practised as a commercial litigator.
