Gyanu Gautam

Lecturer – Kathmandu School of Law

Gyanu Gautam is a full time faculty of Kathmandu School of Law with Designation of Associate Professor. Mr. Gautam is currently working as a Coordinator of Clinical Law Department in Kathmandu School of law (KSL). As a responsibility of Associate Professor in KSL, he teaches Constitutional law, Law on Good Governance, Professional Ethics and Clinical Works subjects for 5 years B.A.L.L.B. students. Mr. Gautam had officially visited various countries including China, India, Bangladesh, Denmark and Thailand in capacity of Faculty of KSL and has participated and facilitated seminars, conferences and workshops thereon.

Mr. Gautam had completed his 5 years L.L.B. with specialization in Constitutional Law in 2013A.D. and 2 years L.L.M. degree with specialization in Human Rights and Gender Justice from Kathmandu School of Law in 2015 A.D. Currently Mr. Gautam is persuing Doctor of Philosophy PhD (in Area of Clinical Legal Education and Professional Ethics) from Tribhuwan University.

Mr. Gautam has the experience of working as a researcher and Field Communicator in “Enhancing Good Governance and Human Rights Protection in Security Agencies and Criminal Justice Actors in Nepal” project (2014A.D.-2017A.D.) jointly implemented by Kathmandu School of Law and Danish Institute for Human Rights. He had worked as a clinical Attorney providing free legal aid to poor and needy people in KSL Human Rights and Criminal Justice Clinic from 2013A.D. to 2015A.D. He also had the experience of working as the General Secretary (2012A.D-2013A.D.) and President (2013A.D.-2016A.D.) of Nepalese Law Student Association (NeLSA) an umbrella organization of all law students of Nepal.
