Bio Lamngeun Khatsavang - Asia Pro Bono Conference & Access to Justice Exchange

Vice President – Lao Bar Association (LBA)

Lamngeun Khatsavang is the Vice President of the Lao Bar Association (LBA) and has been an active member since 2012. Her commitment to pro bono work is evident in her roles, including serving as the LBA Legal Aid Supervisor, where she promotes collaboration between pro bono services and legal aid initiatives.

Following her participation in the 12th Asia Pro Bono Conference in the Philippines in 2023, Lamngeun took on the role of Pro Bono Trainer. In this capacity, she supervises and supports other trainers across the country, helping to educate LBA members about pro bono practices.

Additionally, she is part of the organizing committee for the in 1^st National Pro Bono and Legal Aid Conference in Lao PDR, which is aligned with the first Lao Pro Bono Week, organized by the Ministry of Justice and the LBA. Lamngeun is dedicated to advancing pro bono initiatives to strengthen the legal profession’s role in promoting access to justice, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goal 16.
