Ja Aung Lu is a human rights advocate from Burma/Myanmar. She completed her Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program on “Law and Human Rights” at the University of Minnesota Law School in 2016. She accomplished her professional affiliation with the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University, New York City and Advocate for Human Rights, Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Law from Myitkyina University. With more than 10 years of experience in the field of human rights education, Ja Aung Lu has collaborated with hundreds of human rights activists, human rights defenders and educators both locally and internationally.
