Regional Manager, Asia

Purna Shrestha is currently working as Regional Manager for Asia with the Center for Reproductive Rights (the Center). Based in the Center’s Kathmandu office, she supports Asia program’s advocacy at national, regional and international levels around women’s reproductive health and rights issues, including access to safe abortion, access to contraception information and services, and ending child marriage. Purna has previously worked with UN Women, UNDP, and the Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD). Purna received a Master of Law on Sexual and Reproductive Rights from the University of Toronto, Canada and Master in Women’s Studies from Lucknow University, India.
