Rinki joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation in Feb 2016 as a Programme Officer. Based in Mumbai, she manages relationships with TrustLaw’s network of NGOs and social enterprises in South Asia and connects them with legal professionals to promote legal pro bono practice in the region. She also supports strategic legal research programmes on regional and cross-border issues. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked with The Japan Foundation and Tata Institute of Social Sciences to implement projects and activities across South and South East Asia. Through her experiences, she has developed a keen interest in Environmental Resource Management, Disaster Response, and Peace Building Initiatives. Rinki completed her Masters in Environmental Sciences from Bangalore University and PGDM in Disaster Management from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She also holds an expertise in Remote Sensing and GIS and has developed maps to address environmental management and Disaster response.
