Programme Head

Shahariar Sadat has been appointed as Programme Head, Human Rights and Legal Aid Services (HRLS) BRAC from May 02, 2019. Prior to joining BRAC, Mr. Sadat worked as Academic Coordinator, Centre for Peace and Justice, BRAC University. He has a decorated career with over thirteen years of experience in working with organisations like South Asian Institute of Advanced Legal and Human Rights Studies, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), London College of Legal Studies (South), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Office of the Compliance Advisory Ombudsman (CAO), Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC). He has practiced as Advocate at Supreme Court of Bangladesh and a Master Trainer cum Accredited Mediator at Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), UK.
