Establishment of an Asia Regional Network of Pro Bono Legal Service Providers to Support A2J for People Who Use Drugs
The Roundtable/Workshop will be attended by participants throughout the region focusing on providing various types of legal services to People Who Use Drugs( PWUD) . It will build on the synergy and momentum of the 5th Asia Pro Bono Conference session entitled "Pro Bono, Drug Users and Access to Justice in Asia". The goals of the Roundtable include:
- The establishment of key focal points and steering group to support the development of the ‘country snap shots’ report to inform the building of the network
- An agreed framework and methods for the research associated with the research to inform the country snaps
- The roadmap for the production of a Regional Report that would blueprint the network formation
- Agreement on the proposed next steps towards release of the work at the Access to Justice week in Chiang Mai, January 2017
