Alvon Kurnia Palma is chairperson of Indonesia Legal Aid Foundation (Yayasan LBH Indonesia) 2011-2016 period. He was one of many activist who encourage Indonesia to made Legal Aid Law, drafter while it formulated as a NGO bill, and advocacy it. When the bill become law, He was asked by the Law and Human Rights Department as the implementator become drafter on Government Regulation (PP) on Requirment and Procedure, Ministry Regulation on Verify and Accreditation, and Minitry Regulation on quality control. He also asked by the government become Verify and accreditate committee on legal aid provider. As Chairpeson of Indonesia legal Aid Foundation, the foundation give input to the implementator base on 3 years monitor  after the legal aid law promugalted. Alvon has experinace on pro bono activities since 2001 when he already become Padang Legal Aid Institute advocate. Number of cases which alredy done by him such as criminal, private and administrative issues. In previous time, he was advocate of former KPK commisioners when they criminalized by police.
