Andrew P. Valentine is a partner at U.S. law firm DLA Piper and a member of its international pro bono arm (New Perimeter).

Since 2013, Andrew has been working with BABSEA on the Clinical Legal Education (CLE) project in Myanmar.  He was part of the training team at the 10-Day Taunggyi Summer School in May 2014,  participated in the Inaugural Myanmar Mock Trial Event in Yangon in February 2015, and participated in the Second Myanmar Mock Trial Event in Yangon in 2016.

Andrew has also participated in pro bono projects in Namibia, Rwanda and Bangladesh.  Between 2010-2012, Andrew lead a team that researched, wrote and published Namibia Access to Justice: Paralegal Manual.  In March 2014, Andrew was an instructor at a training event in Kigali, Rwanda for government attorneys relating to complex international contract negotiation.
