Chris Barron

I was part of the first group of QUT students to travel to Myanmar. I went to Monwya university. I am a QUT Law Grad doing my articles of clerkship for an Independent Children's Lawyer. I sit on the Management Committee of the South West Brisbane Community Legal Centre.I have 8 years experience in the social services sector working as a child safety, disability and mental health worker, which I still work in part time while doing my articles. I have undertaken legal internships in human rights in both Papua New Guinea and Myanmar. I have a decade volunteering as a lifesaver. I'm interested in advocacy and access to justice both domestically and on the international stage. Also a big fan of free speech.
