Danielle Hurda

Danielle Hurda is a student at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, who will graduate in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Justice (majoring in Criminology) and a Bachelor of Laws.
In February 2016, Danielle traveled to Myanmar to participate in an externship with Bridges Across Borders South East Asia Community Legal Education. During this externship, she worked within a team to create and deliver lesson plans at Taungoo University.
Danielle currently works at Women's Legal Service, Queensland. She is employed as an Information and Referral Worker, answering the statewide helpline for women experiencing family law and domestic violence issues. She also attends as a volunteer paralegal at a specialist domestic violence court, assisting women making applications for protection orders.
