Dina Hapsari
Assistant Protection Officer at United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR)
A human rights lawyer by training, Dina Hapsari is currently working for UNHCR Indonesia as Assistant Protection Officer. She was appointed to be the detention focal point for the Global Detention Strategy and focal point for Judicial Engagement Strategy to implement the newly launched regional strategy. On behalf of UNHCR, she is heavily engaged with policy advocacy on refugee protection, individual case management, humanitarian negotiation, and capacity building. Prior to her service with UNHCR, she worked for various legal aid institutions and leading human rights NGOs in Jakarta. She studied Law at the University of Indonesia majoring in Legal Practice and at the University of London majoring in Human Rights Law.
