Emi Rowse is Senior Consultant in Herbert Smith Freehills’ Dispute Resolution team. She specializes in commercial litigation and international arbitration. She is the Pro Bono Coordinator for HSF Bangkok and was formerly the Pro Bono Coordinator for HSF Hong Kong. Examples of pro bono work done to date include contributions to the Civil Procedure chapter in Justice Without Borders’ Manual for Migrant Workers in Hong Kong, co-hosting a workshop with PILnet to raise awareness of children and youth issues in Hong Kong, leading the initiative with Mother’s Choice in Hong Kong to draft a Child Protection Manual, advising Save the Children Hong Kong in respect of various agreements and contributing to the Thai portion of the FLEX (Focus on Labour Exploitation) database. In addition to her role as Pro Bono Coordinator, Rowse was also Chair of the Women in Business Committee of HSF HK.
