Chairman of The Union Migran Workers Indonesia at SBMI

Hariyanto now serves as chairman of SBMI period 2015-2019. SBMI is a non-profit and independent organization of migrant workers and members of their families. Established on February 25, 2003. Previously named the Federation of Indonesian Migrant Labor Organization (FOBMI). Initiated and dibidani by Migrant Workers Defense Consortium (KOPBUMI) since 2000 through an organization called the forerunner of the National Network of Migrant Workers. SBMI is the antithesis of the bad condition of the many problems faced by Indonesian migrant workers. SBMI later recognized as the Trade Unions since 2006. SBMI work priorities is the case advocacy and policy, education and critical to members of migrant workers, economic empowerment, regeneration, and organizing.
