Irina Zaitseva is an Australian-qualified corporate lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills. She advises corporate clients on projects, joint venture arrangements, construction contracts, sales and acquisitions and general corporate matters. She has specific industry expertise in the energy and resources sector. Irina has considerable international experience, having worked on projects in Europe, the CIS (Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan), the Middle East (Qatar and Abu Dhabi), Asia (Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China) and Africa (Namibia). Irina is one of the pro bono coordinators in the Herbert Smith Freehills Hong Kong office. She has recently been involved in assisting Justice Without Borders on the production of a manual to assist with migrant domestic worker claims in Hong Kong.
