Mandy Shircore
Senior Lecturer and Head of Law at James Cook University
Mandy Shircore is a senior lecturer and Head of the Law at James Cook University. She has worked with community legal services in Australia, volunteering as a student, legal practitioner and committee member for over 30 years. Her commitment to the sector was recognized in 2006, when she received the Toni Dick Memorial Prize for outstanding community service. As an academic, Mandy has been working with a number of community legal services in North Queensland developing an expanded and collaborative clinical program to enhance service delivery to people of North Queensland and build student capacity for pro bono work.
