Member of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) Over 30 years of professional experience mainly within the United Nations System, ranging from Social Development, to Relief Coordination, to Emergency Management training and capacity-building to Development Cooperation to Peace-Building to Human Rights. A combination of experience and skills, including: in depth knowledge of Human Rights and Developmental and Humanitarian issues built in the field and headquarters environments; considerable practice in advocacy, negotiation and capacity building. Mrs. Haidar holds an advanced University degree in “Law and Sociology” from the University “Panthéon-Sorbonne” in Paris.
