Project Coordinator at BABSEACLE

Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh (Linh Bear) graduated from the Trade Union University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Business Law in 2011. In 2013, she received her honours degree in Bachelor of Law. She worked as a coordinator for Trade Union University’s law clinic from 2009 to 2011, and as a Legal Fellow for Bridges Across Borders Southeast Asia – Community Legal Education Initiative (BABSEA CLE) from 2011 to 2013. In June 2013, she commenced work for BABSEA CLE as a full time project coordinator. Nguyen has trained with many CLE activities, CLE training workshops and conferences, including in-house and community teaching sessions in different institutions internationally and regionally (Australia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam). 

In addition, with an interest and compassion towards HIV/AIDS related projects, Nguyen is the co-author of the Vietnamese training manual on HIV/AIDS and ‘Learning about Your Rights”. She also works as a trainer in various legal and capacity raising training for sex workers and the LGBT community. Currently, she is the project manager and master trainer on EIDHR project which aims to protect the rights of people with HIV. Besides working with BABSEA CLE, Nguyen is also a visiting lecturer teaching CLE – a compulsory subject which 1st year law students from Trade Union University have to undertake.
