Vidjia Phun
Law and Human Rights Educator at Pannasastra University of Cambodia
Phun Vidjia is an enthusiastic law and human rights educator with vigorous interest in teaching learners to be socially conscious, in addition to imparting knowledge and skills. He has taught university students for more than 6 years, and has extensive experiences in using clinical legal education methods to teach a total of about 1,000 learners at orphanages, high schools, villages, and social development NGOs. After graduating Master in Human Rights in 2009, he initiated and implemented a first-ever legal and rights education project for juveniles at correctional center. As for research he has written report on rule of law in Cambodia (May 2010) and children accompanying incarcerated mothers (July 2010). More recently, his report on judicial training in Cambodia is published (2014) while the report on human rights education in public primary and high schools in Cambodia is pending publication. His research interests are human rights education, business and human rights, and human rights and criminal justice.
